Payments, Coins & Refunds
Frendzo has two kinds of money and they are not the same thing. Coins are a virtual item you buy to use the app. Earnings are real rupees a creator is paid. This page explains both, and what happens when something goes wrong.

1. Coins
- Coins are a virtual item usable only inside Frendzo. They are not money, hold no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be converted to cash by the person who bought them.
- Coins are sold only through Google Play. Google processes the payment; Frendzo never sees your card or bank credentials.
- The price you pay is the price Google Play shows you at the moment of purchase, in your own currency, inclusive of taxes where Google collects them.
- Coins are credited to your balance as soon as Google confirms the purchase, usually within seconds. If they do not appear within a few minutes, reopen the app before contacting us — delivery is re-checked on launch.
- Coins do not expire while your account is active.
2. What coins are spent on
- Calls are charged per minute, at the rate displayed before the call starts — a different rate for audio and video.
- Messages are charged per message sent.
- Rooms are charged per minute while you are in one.
- Gifts cost the coins shown on the gift.
The current rates are always shown in the app, on the home screen and before you start. We may change rates; a change never applies retroactively to a call already in progress. If a call cannot be billed because your balance runs out, the call ends — it is never allowed to continue as a debt.
3. Refunds on coin purchases
Coin purchases are final and non-refundable, because coins are delivered immediately and can be spent immediately. This does not affect rights you have under consumer law.
Two exceptions:
- You were charged and received nothing. Contact us with your Google Play order ID. If our records confirm the coins were not credited, we credit them or arrange a refund.
- Google Play's own refund policy. Requests within Google's window are made through Google Play, not through us. If Google refunds a purchase, the corresponding coins are removed from the account; if they have already been spent, the balance may go to zero and the account may be restricted.
Unauthorised purchase on your device?
Change your Google account password and turn on purchase authentication in the Play Store. Then contact us with the order ID — we will help, but the refund decision on a Play purchase is Google's.
4. Creator earnings
- Creators earn in Indian Rupees for calls received and messages received. The rate depends on whether the minute was audio or video.
- Audio minutes are credited per completed minute. A call that ends part-way through a minute does not pay for that partial minute. Video is credited more frequently, so partial video minutes do count.
- Earnings appear in your wallet as they are credited, and the wallet shows both today's total and your lifetime total.
- Earnings are for real conversations. Calls arranged between accounts under the same control, or generated by a modified app, are fraud: those earnings are void and the account is banned.
5. Withdrawals
- Identity verification is required before any withdrawal. You record a short video of your face, which a person reviews. This exists to stop someone else being paid for your work.
- Withdrawals are requested from the wallet, in the fixed amounts offered there, up to your available balance.
- Payment is made to the UPI ID or bank account you provide. The name on that account should match your verified identity.
- Requests are reviewed before payment. Most are processed within a few working days; a request that needs additional checks takes longer and we will tell you why.
- One payout destination per person. If the same UPI ID or bank account is used by more than one account, withdrawals are blocked pending review — write to admin@frendzo.com and we will look at it individually.
- If a request is rejected, the amount returns to your wallet balance and we tell you the reason.
- You are responsible for any tax due on your earnings. We may be required to withhold tax or report payments to the authorities.
6. When we withhold or reverse money
We may hold, reverse or refuse to pay earnings where we have reasonable grounds to believe an account has:
- misrepresented identity or gender in order to earn;
- generated earnings between accounts under common control;
- used a modified version of the app, or otherwise manipulated billing;
- shared a payout destination with other accounts in a pattern indicating fraud; or
- broken the Community Guidelines in a way that caused the earnings.
Where money is held, we will tell you and you may respond. We do not hold funds indefinitely without explanation.
7. Disputes
Write to admin@frendzo.com with your Frendzo ID, the date, and the order ID or withdrawal reference. We aim to respond within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, say so in reply and it will be escalated to a second reviewer.
